Hey everyone. I'm having trouble again trying to decide how to trim this skirt & blouse i'm making. *sigh*

I don't have any pics of it available (me = doesn't know how to work digi camera thingy) but i can describe it pretty well. Both the skirt & blouse are made of baby pink cotton broadcloth. The top will have short puff sleeves, front & back darts & a lightly gathered high neckline. The skirt is a basic short circle skirt with a 4 1/2" ruffle added to the hem. The outfit will also include a baby blue (broadcloth) apron or pinafore, i haven't decided which one yet, with 2 pink heart shaped front pockets & pink ruffle trim.

What I want to know from you all is what you think i should trim the dress with? I have available 10 yds of 1 1/2" baby blue flat lace, 4 yds of 1/2" ruffled eyelet lace, waaaaay more purple rick-rack than anyone needs, about 4 yds of 1/4" cream flat lace & about 40 yds of black lace ranging in widths. I've also some baby pink 60" windsor lace that i have *no* clue what to do with aside from making a parasol hood & maybe a pair of gloves. I'm drawing a blank as to how i should decorate the dress itself. Do you have any suggestions?

I think the white or cream ruffled lace or eyelet would be super cute! ;)

I would go with the white or cream as well. And have you made the apron yet? No matter how many times I look at tehe pink/blue combo in my head, it doesn't quite sit right. Maybe, if you haven't started, you could consider making the pinafore or apron a cream or white as well? It seems like the lace will pull that all together a lot more nicely than a baby blue.
