If you're in Japan or doing business with a shopping service to acquire items at the moment, please note that due to the rotative power-shortage program that the government put in place yesterday to save on energy (because of the nuclear centrals having problems and a lot of refineries having caught fire and all since Friday), a lot of shops will be closed or having shorter business hours.
Putumayo informs us that the Yokohama VIVRE is closed temporarily.
However, their Tenjin store in Fukuoka prefecture will still be celebrating their 4th anniversary
LaForet stores are either closed or shortening business hours, check their blogs for more infos.
Angelic Pretty informs us that this caused them to close a few of their their locations: Tokyo, Yokohama, Omiya, Utsunomiya and all those in Kanto region .
The Nagoya store is open and they wish everyone a good White Day!
Meta is suspending their operation in Shinjuku & Harajuku and notifying everyone that you have to expect delays in delivery due these extraordinary conditions. Meta, AP, Putumayo and Baby all announced that Laforet in Harajuku, Marui in Shinjuku and Vivre in Yokohama are closed today. Baby also announced that their branch in Mito would be closed for activities today (Sat.March 12th)
Meta announced that they are halting their activities until further notice and apologize for delays incurred in shipping items and all.
These four brands' employees and their families have been reported as being safe and sound. Most of the branches in western Japan seem to be up and running today.

My friend told me that Mana has been reported safe through his blog, although I don't know about Moi-Même-Moitié's employees.
I haven't heard/read from Algonquins, Atelier-Pierrot, Atelier Boz, Emily Temple Cute or others.
From their blogs, I can confirm that Misako Aoki is safe (she's on a trip in China) and fellow model Chikage has reported that she had been quite scared but she is unharmed. She wrote today to say she felt powerless not being able to help the rescue teams and asking women not to wander outside alone because of possible rape threats. AYABIE'S Intetsu who was with them at the latest BTSSB/AatP tea party in Tokyo is also reported to be fine according to the band's blog (where they announced that their show tonight in Sapporo is canceled because it is impossible to reach the island from Honshu with public transportations, at the moment). I unfortunately can't confirm any other G&LB/Kera models or staff.

LaForet Harajuku + Shinjuku will cut short their business hours and close at 6PM to help with energy conservation efforts. Putumayo & Meta's staff there is all safe and thanks you for your concern :) Meta is pushing back the date for reservation of the Sailor Series for now.
Meta says they were lucky and their Fukuoka location did not get much damages.
Putumayo announced that their Yokohama location will open same hours as usual, from 11am.
