Question about Paypal

I've recently linked paypal to my bank account but. . . I wanted to ask if I should simply link it to my debit card instead? I also can't get it to confirm my bank account either so I was wondering if any of you had suggestions on what to do and what's smarter to do.

I want to start selling so I'm trying to get this thingamajig to work! >_<
