Cheaper than eBay
Feb. 6th, 2011 04:51 amI was browsing through eBay leisurely when I noticed a very familiar looking item:
Lolita Princess Dress
I remembered considering purchasing in from the original Lolita Princess shop on TaoBao here:
Same dress
through a Chinese shopping service. While on eBay everything is already in English, conveniently placed and easy to buy, the dress itself goes up to 99.99 USD from the original 359 yuan (roughly 54.76USD) not including shipping.
The shipping from the eBay seller is 32.99, while the shopping service (TaoBao Tube, for instance) offers it at 23.60USD plus the the service fees, which can be from about 5 USD to 10% of your order (usually depending on weight)+ original shipping which is usually about 10USD.
In the end? 132.98 for an easy transaction, or select from a wider variety and get it for 93.36.
Does anyone know more information about the seller hotsaleeuro? He/she/they has/have decent feedback over a decent number of transactions and the website that's watermarked across the front doesn't seem to actually exist. =/
The difference isn't so huge that I'd go sobbing over it for hours, and of course the seller on eBay is offering a nice service by making it a one-stop shop and go, but I'm a penny saver.
Is this post too redundant? Has someone already made a post about this seller? I searched for the seller in the EGL search and nothing came up. Mods, please let me know!
