Mihara Mitsukaz

This is my first post... ((nervous)) in any case, I'm Angela. Not very daring fashion-wise (working on it!) but I do love EGL and the Lolita look. ((bows)) Be nice to me?
Anyway, two things: first, does anyone know a place online where I could find scans or pics by Mihara Mitsukaz? He's the artist who did the work in the G+L Bibles. Second, gothic/lolita clothing is *expensive*! Is there anyone in North America who does custom work like that? I'd do it myself, but I have yet to learn how to sew :P.

Go down to your local thrift store. I usually find a lot of egl-ish stuff down there, especially lots of petticoats and full-skirts. If you're into country lolita(I only half know what country lolita is, but i'm assuming it's what i think it is! O.O), then I find that stuff ALL the time. Other than that, check out target ads, since sometimes they sell things like a lacy black skirt, or a white poofy-sleeved blouse or other not-so-drastic egl-stuffs. ^^ Other than that, custom stuff is damn expensive. Good luck finding egl stuff! :D

And about the gl bible art, if I can find it(Which I've seen it at kinokuniya so hopefully I can get it there if i dun find it) at fanime con, I'm gonna buy Mihara-san's artbook. Most likely I'll scan some of the really nice art in, and I'll be sure to upload it and share with everyone here. :D

I already flipped through it and nearly orgasmed, it was so beautiful. If I had the money I woulda payed the WAY overpriced amount and got it, but I only had like $5. :(...But OH it was sweet. :D

A little while ago I made a really nice EGL style lacy shirt from a commercial pattern, and although I don't have a site up yet or anything, I would so love to do some EGL commission stuff, and of course for a reasonable price. If you have cosplaylab, my acocunt there is geckochan and you can see the shirt there and some other stuff I've sewn, otherwise if you're interested in having something made I can email you a couple more photos.
