I was recently thinking about an issue of brand sizes. Compared to my quite normal waist size I have big boobs, so I always have to be careful about buying dresses and blouses. I thought it would be helpful if there would be some kind of database of the true measurments of some famous dresses and designs.

I bet it happened to everyone else before, that a dress or skirt was a bit smaller/bigger than promised on the brand homepage, and if you are just around the limits of a sizing chart, a few centimeters can mean a lot.

Here are the examples of my wardrobe:
BTSSB "Rozufurora" JSK - the max bust was 88 cm on Baby's website, but fits 105 cm
BTSSB Jewel Tree Bouquet OP - max sizes on the OHP: bust - 98, waist - 79, but fits a 105 cm bust and 84 cm waist
BTSSB Runt Cat/ Little Kitty Tiered JSK: max bust is 103-104 cm, waist is about 86-87 cm
BTSSB Chiffon Angel JSK - max bust is almost 110 cm, but not bigger than cup C
BTSSB Tiered Usakumya / Bear lace JSK - max bust is 107 cm, but not bigger than cup C

I'd be really intrested in Snow Dot JSK and OP's real max measurments, Desserts OP's measurments (was there a plus size Desserts OP? I saw once a lavender one wich had 40 inches in bust, but I was not sure if was possible or not).

Since I only wear Baby and offbrand, I have no idea about other brands. As far as I can tell, Baby's garments are always a few centimeters bigger than the measurments on their homepage, except for those wich have minimal or no shirring.

So ladies, especially those who are closer to plus sizes - share your experience of lucky or less lucky brand dress finds!
