Strawberries and Ankle Socks
Aug. 6th, 2009 12:20 pmWARNING: Image heavy!
Recent shoot I had with dreamedreality and moonlitedx. As usual, everything's handsewn/reconstructed by me, even the ankle socks! Oh I know that ankle socks are usually looked down when it comes to Lolita but I have thought about it very well and I am sticking to them for these reasons: firstly, because knee highs/stockings/tights don't look good with chubby legs. Come now, I don't have skinny legs, and wearing knee high / stockings/ tights just make mine look plumper. I want something that would work for me, even if it means breaking some "standards". With ankle socks, I know my legs are defined well, and that's a very good confidence boost. I'd rather wear ankle socks than get upset with how plump my legs are in knee highs/stockings/tights. Secondly, it's too hot here in the Philippines, especially when wearing a petticoat. On a different note, I am very proud of how my bonnet turned out! So there, that's about it! Enjoy and thank you for viewing. Comments are very much appreciated!
