Question about mixing Lolita and Non-Lolita items

Never posted before but I had a question...

How do you feel when you see someone wearing a lolita with non-lolita items.
Example:
A dress with out any lolita features. It hit your thighs, is a not poofy, and has no lolita features but is neverless a cute dress.
And then frilly socks and lolita shoes.

Will you automatically think their doing it wrong?
Or will you just be annoyed that they mixed lolita in with a non-lolita style.

I checked the search engine but didn't see anything like this..if there is please tell me the link ;].

Also they are not saying that its lolita. They are just trying to coordinate the dress.
