So I decided it was time to stop buying fabrid and start using up some of the stuff that I had laying around. This material was given to me. And when I started out making this dress all I could think was this is probably going to be the ugliest dress ever. But it actually didn't turn out too bad. My plaids don't match, but I didn't feel like working on that, the next time I will. But I kind of like how it doesn't match up. Sorry the picture is so big, I wanted the sleeves to be seen. Well what do you think?

I like it! I think its cute.

What patterns do you use to make your loli dresses? Do you make your own??

GORGEOUS.

That's almost the EXACT replica of my dream dress in my head. Did you use an existing pattern for it, or make your own?

I think that 1) the mismatched plaids aren't that noticable, 2) it gives it charm, and 3) it's ADORABLE.

It's wonderful! I wish I could make as good dresses as you-but sadly I mostly just work on skirts and every once in a while a shirt or 2. I'm bad with structure on dresses.

Not that I can remember. Maybe some old stuff. But that would involve way too much cringing.

Really? Could you maybe post some pictures of some of the things you plan to sell?

Oh my! You make excellent dresses. I've fallen in love with them. Especially the green one(you already knew that), the 5th one, 6th and 7th in August 2004. And I do like 16 of the direct sale.

It is super cute. ^_^ The off-matched checks (or plaid?) is most visible in the bodice of the dress.

should not have clicked. un-matched plaids are a huge pet peeve of mine. thought i'd be able to give an honest evaluation of it otherwise, but i keep going gah! unmatched plaid! gah! gah!

I think it's adorable and i doubt anyone would say it's horrible just because you used the stuff you had at hand.

haha ppl can be awfull here too. I came here with that "everyone's trying to help and they're nice" kind of mentality and i got pretty sad when i had my first awfull comment. :|

I am currently doing the same as you are... using old stuff. We have to do that eventually right?

I never posted any pictures. I might post some later but i dunno... i'm ok with forums and some websites but putting them here always seemed pretty useless. I mean... i made the clothes i like them so why show them off?

I would love a dress like that in regular black and white *_*.
It looks really cute in that color. I don't mind the mismatched plaid either.

Thinking about it it would look really pretty in like a deep purple color too.
Do you take custom orders?

Hm...
If you were to make a dress the same style as the one in this post... What do you think the lowest price would be for one?

those sleeves are worth the big picture - very cute.

I didn't really notice the mismatched plaid, but I am rather silly -_-'
