Thanks but your comment in no way helps me imrpove. You need to be more specific. Also keep in mind that these aren't hour-long pieces, these are sketches I did while waiting for my dinner to arrive at a restaurant so they're not any longer than 10-15 minutes each.

i dontthink you need to work on them... well unless your not satisfied. i consider myself an artist too even though im not the type of who produces "wow!" art, and i think that as long as your satisfied with a piece, you wouldnt need to fix it up or whatever.

I'm satisfied with the drawing because, I'm not selling it, it's not for a school project nor do I really need to impress anybody. It was just for fun and on topic to this group so I thought I'd share.

i dont think you sounded rude at all.
not to be mean to the person who said you needed work, but i hate it when people tell someone that you need to fix things up. that goes for everything, including telling a bands or telling someone to take writing classes.
i mean really, a persons own art is that persons creation. it sucks to have somone to critique it or whatever unless asked.
i realize it was a artist-to-artist tip, but yeah, specific tips would be better. sorry for butting in guys, i just had to say my thoughts.

haha! that's is because i'm not good explaining things in english. Well, i was talking about body proportions.. need more definition... also the line, it needs to be regular and continuous. Ok, maybe you made that in 5 minutes or less, but i doesn't mather that you cant read a critic. Everytime an artist post something is exposed to get a comment ..good or bad, because at the end artist works to show their creations (i learnt that in Art history). anyway i didn't wrote that to make you feel bad or something... just want you to get better ok?
Is just my opinion if you don't like it just don't pay
attention.

If the line was regular and continous, it'd look more like the lines you'd see in animation. This is NOT animation and line variation is a very important part in line artwork. I take classes on this stuff, seriously.

Some animations (Waking Life, Ed Edd and Eddy) have line variations but most do not vary much because it keeps the language between animators easy to deal with on a drawing-to-drawing basis.

It's India ink marker.. you wanna get it with the B tip so that it has a long and narrowing tip. It's easy to vary the line widths that way.
