Patchy bat-wing bag

Last week someone posted asking about a Patchy bag/purse with bat wings, if Putumayo still carried it. I don't have time now to look through all the old entries to find out who it was, but to that person:

I went to Putumayo today and they DO have the purse! It's still 17,000yen, and if you do wish to buy it, I will help you.

And unrelated, but I got the BEST second-hand buy ever today! XDD A Putumayo velvet suit... I know velvet would be the last thing on anyone's mind, it being 100 degrees with 100% humidity, but it was so great, for only 5900yen! I have no idea what the original price was, or what season's collection it was, but whatever it was, I'm sure it was a lot more than that.. And I'm gonna be loving it come winter!



The jacket:


It has ruffles around the collar and cuffs


Laces up the back like a corset


Handkerchief skirt (square pattern so hem comes to points) with ruffle


I'm so happy :D

It's a second hand shop in Harajuku (on Takeshita street) that sells brand name things for good prices. It's called Ragtag ^^ I'm not sure the exact address.

I love velvet suits XD I have a million jackets I've gotten at Goodwill and other thrift stores, this is my first goth/loli one though :D

Me too, Velvet can be really flattering on all different sizes plus it's just so Elegant... I am so so jealous of you being able to walk into GothLoli second hands stores, I'd be in heaven if I could do that *Sigh*! Ohh you being a seamstress, do you think it's possible to customise a normal Velvet Jacket into something like that? *Ahhh so pretty*

I'm sure it would be possible.. the hard part would be getting the ruffle on the collar and cuffs.. You'd have to sew it underneath or on top cuz opening up the collar and/or cuffs would be needlessly hard. I haven't examined it closely yet and I'm too lazy to get up and dig it out right now, tbue the corset part I think is just a couple of loops sewn on the darts which would be an easy customization. I say go for it.. Get a couple old velvet things at the thrift store and see what happens XD
