Starry Candy Box/AP Issues

Hello All.  Three weeks ago I ordered a pair of Angelic Pretty tea party shoes from Starry Candy Box.  The owner of the company assured me the order has been processed, but Angelic Pretty in Tokyo is backlogged.  Does anyone know anything about the delay in shipping or if AP is having issues getting orders out?  I assumed since Starry Candy Box is in the States that purchasing from them would be easier than ordering directly from Japan, but  it would appear I may be wrong.  Help anyone?  Thanks!!!
