I just finished this scarf this morning. It is going up on eBay sometime soon.
I would like to put Elegant Gothic Aristocrat into the title.


It's about 39 inches long without the fringe and 6 inches wide.
The fringe is about 2 inches long on each side.
It's a good size for a little girl or boy. Also for people who like shorter scarves.

I definatly think putting an EGA or EGL lable into the title would be acceptable. Its a cute scarf with your classic black and white colors, not to mention the crown that you see on everything EGA/L related. :)

It's the same idea as doing a Fair Isle design.
Since I use a knitting loom I'm not sure how it works for hand knitting.

It's a hand machine. Basically it's like a loom and I push a cartridge from one end to the other end. But the darn thing likes to jam or drop the piece off the needles. I find myself crocheting and latchhooking a lot to fix those events. Punchcards sound like heaven I have to move the needles by hand for the crowns into position and then hand feed each stitch into the row.

Bond America. My machine is discountinued. But they do have an upgrade kit and some of the upgraded tools look so nice especially a new cartridge for loading two colors so I don't have to stop and reload the cartridge. I also like the silicon spray better than the wax circle that didn't fit where one was supposed to wax the cards. hee. The upgrades are going on my holiday wish list. Yep slow and even pressue is key. When you get some things done don't forget to post them up for us to see. ^_^

After I go to the yarn shop (I want to see the new cashmere yarn they just got in) I will work on a longer version. I would have made this one longer since the first crown I made looked like a pumpkin but I didn't look at the dye lot numbers and came home with complete different blacks. Oops.

I will probably have a longer version up after US Thanksgiving since I'm hoping to finish the EGA skirt and shirt outfit I'm going to sell by then. Also to anyone who does have one, have you ever tryed sweaters? Is it possible to make sweaters on them?
