Hi everyone!
You were all too kind in saying such nice things about the last images that I posted. Since there seemed to be moderate interest in me sharing more pictures, I figured I would share the new gothic & lolita style Alice and Mad Hatter picture that I just finished tonight.
The original image is actually very large, but this version of the image is a smaller more manageable 1024x768 background image.
Since it's so large I put a little preview image in this entry that you can click to see the full image. (It will open in a new window)


Feel free to use it for your personal uses if you happen to like it that much... just don't be a meanie-butt and not give credit where credit is due. ^___~

Absolutely adorable!!! I especially love the way Alice's dress harkens back to the illustration by Mihara Mitsukazu. That was a very lovely touch! If I didn't already have a background image that played a necessary function (I use it as a calendar so I can't ignore it ^.^) I would definately use this for my desktop. I'm new myself, but I did go back into the posts and see your other illustrations before, those were beautiful as well. ^.^ Thank you for sharing! ^.^

I hope that by staring intently at my monitor at your gorgeous pic some of the talent you have in your body will magically transfer to me through some sort of internet osmosis. *wishful thinking*

I have absolutely no idea how you artistic ppl do stuff like that...I have fairly state of the art software (Adobe PS 7) and all I can do with it is make stick figures. (><;)

that is beautiful. i bet you have alot of people asking you to draw theem something. the mad hatter reminds me of a mix between yuki and haru from fruits basket.

Actually, there was an "Alice In Wonderland" inspired doujinshi with the Fruits Basket characters (Yuki, Kyo, Tohru); too bad they only made a tiny print run. ;_;

Right now I have very little artwork online.
I'm working on a store/art-gallery website that I am hoping to have up in the next two weeks.

I did just infact finish art school in August.
It's nice being done because now I can do stuff I want to do (like this picture) instead of what I have to do for class. ^____^

How did you do that? Did you draw it or use photoshop? Nothing I could ever do could turn out that great!

I drew the picture and inked it by hand and then scanned it in and used photoshop to color it and create the background.
A lot of times I will do all hand coloring and then touch it up in photoshop and add backgrounds because I'm too lazy to color it in photoshop. I really like the effect I got on this one though, so I'm glad I decided not to be lazy. *heehee*

It's just for 1024x768.
I just made my backgroundcolor black and centered the image on the desktop and it looked great, but maybe I'll make a larger one...
I think I'll do that for my website. ^___^
