Hi!! I'm Aya who working at Metamorphose.

In Japan, we had a very very bad happening in these days. The 19 years old who goes to university, tried to kill his family. He killed his mother, and he injured his father and his younger brother. He and his girl friend had suicidal wishes. And they want to kill somebody before they die.

It was very crazy. But the worst part of this happen is his girl friend, she liked Gothic Lolita Fashion!! And what happen was every mass media reported like every single lolita-chan wanted to die and wanted to kill somebody!! I know they love to make the story bigger, so everybody listened to that news. But they didn't think about how we felt. I'm very sad if the world change hard for lolita-chan. And I know a lot of lolita-chan is very sweet and good person. I don't want everyone to feel scared about lolita-chan to watch that news. In Japanese byword, "A rumor lasts but 75 days". I'm sure about they soon will find some others.

We won't let troubles get one down!!

Hello, everyone! This is Kato the designer of Metamorphose. How are you doing?

There were still warm days even in November in Japan. But now, finaly, it is getting colder as autumn comes. The other day, I put a picture on my site which was taken when I went to a temple at Kyoto. I went there with 50's style that I wrote about in the last e-mail magazine. This is my normal style. I really want to go on a trip so I looked at some booklets for overseas travel. London in GB is the best place which I want to go now!! It takes about 13 hours from Japan. And the cheapest way, the cost is about 130,000 yen for a few days.

A lot of Japanese lolita-chan dream of a trip to London. Vivian Westwood is the most popular brand among Japanese lolita-chan. We can buy it in Japan, but it is very expensive. It is a little cheaper in London, so that's why they want to go. I love punk style, so I want to buy some real punk stuff.

And I want some shoes!! I love Dr.Marchine shoes, and I bought one when I went to London on a school trip. I still have it. It is cheaper than buying in Japan, so I bought 2 of them, I can't tell you how heavy it was to bring these back. And I bought some others like; teddy bear, cute accessories, dishes of Wedge Wood(these are Peater Rabbit on it.), some cosme... I want so many things I have to save money before I go trip.

I think it is difficult for you to go to a country like Japan. But we are connected by internet. So why don't you find some lolita friends on the internet, if you cannot find someone who like lolita fashion? I think it is neat having friends who like the same things even if they live in other countries.

Let's familiarize about Metamorphose all over the world!!

many times when teenagers here do some things bad, they're usually dressed in the Gothic wear and such, and so then everyone goes around calling them Satanists and bad names and such.. they don't listen to "don't judge a book by its cover" or "just that black community bad mouthed you doesnt mean that their neighboring community will too" hhahaha bad examples :x but, i'm sure that people will find lolita-chan good again.

I think people look for an excuse to attack those who are different.
