I listen to Gackt TM Revolution X Japan Glay Galla Ayumi Hamasaki Utada Hikaru Dragon Ash BoA (both Korean and Japanese versions) aaand that's all I can think of right now. I'm sure if I was on my computer at home, I'd be able to list off more, but it's too early in the morning for my brain to be functioning properly.
yeah, I would have gone into a spaz fest about Full Moon if I started to list all the anime soundtracks I listen to (FMwS is the one I listen to religiously) but I decided to stick to J-Pop/Rock
I think I'm one of the few who doesn't listen to much Japanese music...I did download some Kana after the discussion of her on this list, and I totally want her CD now, I just haven't been able to figure out where to get it. Anybody feel like helping?
I do. My favorite is Lareine (and their spinoff bands). I also listen to Malice Mizer, Moi dix Mois, Fatima, Aioria, Dir en grey, deadman, Luna Sea, L'Arc, and many others...
Do you have any Lareine albums? I wanted to buy Fierte no Umi to Tomo ni Kieyu but I can't find it anywhere! (Not even ebay!!) Where did you get your Lareine stuff from?? And their other band stuff too?!
I have MANY Lareine CDs. ^^;;; I'm not sure about the best way to get their stuff from overseas though, especially the older CDs. (I live in Japan so it's very easy for me ^^) But I think your best bet would probably be Third Stage, an indies store in Tokyo that sells both new and used CDs and will ship internationally. Their stock changes as people buy and sell things, so even if they don't have an old item like "fierte" at the moment they might have it next week.
It's how I got into lolita fashion! I love love love Malice Mizer and Gackt but I also listen to Puffy, Bonnie Pink, and Morning Musume (those girls make annoying into an art form, I love it)
I listen to Miyavi, Dir en Grey, Due le Quartz, Kaggra, Malice Mizer, La' Mule, Despairsray, BLue-B, Phobia, Penicillin, Syndrome, Gackt, Nightmare, and there's more but I'm going to stop there.
My tastes are slightly 'out there'. I don't really listen to typical EGL Japanese music, but then, I'm only a part-time lolita ^^; I love Mucc, Inugami Circus-dan, Metronome, Caligari, Guruguru Eigakan, and so many others that I don't know where to start.
I pretty much only listen to Japanese music now, lol. Gravitation music, J-rock (waaaay too many bands to list, but mostly Dir en grey and Nightmare right now) and Jpop, too.
Practically the only thing I listen to is Japanese music. ;P (Although there have been quite a few good domestic bands lately ^_^)
Here's my list of favorites: Megumi Hayashibara Malice Mizer Gackt Two-Mix Smile.dk T.M. Revolution Dir en Grey Noir Fleurir (sp?) Lareine (kind of T_T) Judy and Mary Hysteric Blue Laputa Glay Kana plus a messload of anime songs from things like Gundam Wing, Escaflowne, Utena, Bust a Groove (which is actually a game), Sorcerer Hunters, it goes on forever... PLUS all those Jrock bands that my friend listens to like X Japan, Baiser (they're cool), um, I forget! T_T
Plus I've heard a few things I really like from Penicillin, Buck-Tick, and other Visual Kei bands I can't remember...
The bulk of my small collection of Japanese music consists of:
Malice Mizer (MANA-SAMA!!!) Dir en Grey Luna Sea The Pillows
There's LOTS of odds n ends in my collection that I really love but don't have enough of to bother listing. I love (what I've heard from) X Japan and Kana and definetly want more.
Of course I do!!! I listen to anything I can get my hands on! (or computer on for that matter ;) ) I love Japanese music! I also listen to some Korean music too, but just a little bit.
Japanese music XD I'm a big fan. My favorites are... Mean Machine Mummy the Peepshow Judy and Mary Fra-Foa The Brilliant Green Chara Bonnie Pink Sentimental Bus The Pillows Number Girl
*is one of the few people so far who is not a visual rock fan* O_O;

um um...lots of indies bands and other bands i can't remember o_O; lmao
p5, puffy, buck-tick, gackt, esrevnoc, plastic tree, hikki, hide and spread beaver, and classic instrumental music/monk chants, which i adore <3 those are a few which i have always dug
I listen to lots and lots of Japanese music. Infact, that's pretty much all I listen to these days. Some of my current favorites are as follows although that doens't include my current favorite sountracks or even everything Japanese or otherwise that I like. ^___^
Kana Dragon Ash Rip Slyme T.M.Revolution (did you guys know that stands for Takanori Makes Revolution? maybe you did. I dunno.) Kuraki Mai Utada Hikaru Ayumi Hamasaki
