Aaarrrrt!!

Eheh... this is how I wasted my evening. I drew this in Tokyo way back in August, and just found it and decided to colour it in tonight. The outfit is inspired by the new h.Naoto blood line, and the shoes were inspired by those created by Kera. Coloured pencil and sharpie with a horribly photoshopped background. And yes, the Japanese says what the English says, roughly. It would've sounded weird if I translated it as "I am your sugar... put me in your coffee, EH?" >_<;; Don't ask where that came from. Am... strange. Yay EGL art!
Behind that cut be art. Questions, comments, reviews, con crit, and/or comissions would be well appreciated. ^_^;;

Date: 2003-10-07 05:36 am (UTC)As long as you ask permission first. That's all I request. Unless I've stolen the outfit directly from a brand (which I do often), in which case, sew away. o_O;;

Date: 2003-10-06 10:44 pm (UTC)You can't copyright or even patent apparel designs (you can patent textile processes or technical aspects of creating a garment or design, like say, a new type of closure or textile finish or method of pleating, and in some cases a method of creation, like Issey Miyakes knitting machines, but not an actual design). You can copyright the actual artwork, but not the design. Just thought you should know for future reference, especially if you don't want people snatching your design ideas (reason why I never post any current designs anywhere online until a season is over and done with, and even then I'm a bit wary, since I never know what can be useful in the future for my portfolio for specific jobs)

Date: 2003-10-07 11:04 am (UTC)there's alot of gathering, and lace on that dress.
i can at least match the price.....but would be willing to make something like what is in the picture for $115 + shipping (shipping is usually $10-$20 depending on how you have it shipped/where it is going
you have your choice of colors for the main dress...the lace could either be black, or white.
