err - No offence, but some of us EGL like to distinguish ourselves from the whole kinderwhore thing, personally i think its kinda creepy :|

Well, I don't know these things..I'm not even EGL, my friend dresses in the style and I admire it, and I figure if I run across something that might be buy-able, I post it.

Don't be discouraged. That was a nice link. Besides, there are many areas of style that are open to interpretation and can be grouped in different categories depending on other factors.

The name kinderwhore does denote a terrible meaning, but then again, so does Gothic Lolita. The meaning of these two are actually quite similar when you think about what Lolita is.

So, essentially, don't worry about labels, and don't let anyone discourage you over labels.
