egl_archiveSome of you were asking about the quality of the "Body Line" clothing label that have been on sale in eBay recently. I bought a dress and a shirt from the a few weeks ago, and I recieved them this week. They are really, really cute! I was worried about the quality, but for they're perfectly fine from what I can see. They're made of the same kind of materials as the Japanese brands, and the only difference is they're made in China. I guess that means they're more mass-produced and less exclusive like the other brands who have limited runs, but if all you want is a dress and a shirt to wear around to conventions and tea parties and stuff, you can't really go wrong. But as they say, the proof is in the pudding... I took some pics of me in them this morning:

One question from myself o.o Is that shirt fairly strechy? Technically speaking, would it fit someone who has a waist over 31 inches? ^^;;

The shirt itself is not made of stretch material, but the buttons are looped with elastic... however, this kind of only gives it an extra half inch, because after that you skin will show through in the gaps>_<;; If you look on their website, they do have really nice shirts that will fit over 31" waists, just not in that style.

2. please don't pound on eye-liner on your lower eyes. Your eyes are already fairly big you can use some on your top lid to accent your eyes though and a little on the bottom edges to make your eyes look slightly longer.
3. please learn to shape your eyebrows and wax them.
4. last and finally your hair is lovely, but it's so damn PLAIN. You remind me of Marsha Brady..get your hair cut! Do something cute and new with it PLEASE.

...At any rate, I think both dresses are lovely and you look really cute in them ^_^ I'm glad to know the dresses are well-made and look good in your photos (not just their commercial pics). I really want to get that white one or the other all black lacey one ^^ They're right in my price range and should fit me well. Rah!
