I havent really posted much except comments on other entries, so I thought I would post some pretty pictures. There is a link to where I got them at the
I've personally never tried it, but everytime I have made red velvet cake, I always thought this little recipe looked alot like blood. Just mix the following together in a bowl.
2 ounces red food coloring 2 tablespoons unsweetened cocoa powder
You will have to double/triple/etc. the recipe to get more out of it. If anyone tries it, let me know.
*nods* That's actually a damn good recipe... I had to learn 29493 variations of stage blood... in case, I don't know, your theatre can't afford to buy blood, or Ben Nye blows up, or something. @_@
Also, using glycerine (get it at the drugstore for $2! also great in bubbles!) makes for good blood, in my experience.
Just nevernevernever use ketchup. Especially the purple kind. *giggles*
Oh thats not me in the pictures! O____O I wish I were that pretty! but I have used blood before on costumes and such and I use either the fake blood in costume shops or red vegetable dye. I think you could probably use the paints they use on Tshirts though. hope I helped anyway.
wait, sorry, misunderstanding again. I thought you meant me not 'you' meaning anyone in particular. o____o if that makes sense. it doesnt. nevermind. XD
(...my mothers wedding dress was ruined with fake blood (oops...damn that fancy dress party)...so do be careful people and make some vegetable type stuff....)
Wow, those are really gorgeous pics. But there is one thing that is kind of bothering me... Did you direct link to them? If not, that's cool, but if you did and they catch you, you could be in serious trouble. Most courts agree that bandwidth theft is just that, theft. And I've had it happen to me, at one of my sites, so I know jsut how much it sucks.
o____o eep! I thought that it was only if you claim it is all your own work that it was theft. O__O Ill use my temporary linking to thing. thanks for the tip! If they sued me, they wouldnt get much anyway heh. just a stuffed panda and two quid fifty. teehee.
I dunno, I guess it's just more of an ethical thing to me. I'm an artist, so to have someone post my pics somewhere I don't know about, plus jack up my bandwidth bills... I'm sure you can see where I'm coming from. Usually, if Ipost something like this, I'll just post a link to the gallery itself, that way people can see all the pics, too.
I hope you don't think I'm being a bitch, I'm really, really not trying to be. Thanks for being so very receptive to my thoughts.
