Midwest Tea Party?

Hello darlings :) I was wondering if any of you live in the Midwest and would be interested in a Tea Party sometime at the end of fall (that way it won't coincide with my b-day...hehe, priorities). I'd like to plan one and I've been meaning to forever, but there don't seem to be too many Lollies in the Midwest. *shakes fist at Canada and California for hogging all the lollies* Anyway, please respond to either this or write me and email if you're interested because I want to start planning ASAP and I have found some AMAZING places!!! YAY!!! This one place is called the Kitty Cat Club and it's all painfully Victorian and adorable and HUGE! Plus, they don't have much business during the day so we could have the place to ourselves! *explodes*

Also, I'm not sure if I mentioned this, but my site has been updated a little and revamped in terms of appearance. Well, off I go to get some smokes and clean my office. *ta*

Minneapolis, MN. I live in Uptown so I'm in the nucleus of all the fun cute things to do. I'm so happy another loli lives in Mpls :) The Kitty Cat Club is in Dinkytown. I'll have more details as the weeks go by and more concrete timeframe as people contact me and let me know when is good for them!

Yes, I've noticed that and have been trying to fix the problem for the better part of the morning. Ughie, it sucks and I have no idea why some of them work sometimes but when I reload, they don't. I'll hopefully have it fixed by tonight. I'm going to clear some space off my server and such so that maybe they'll upload better.

A panda's work is never done. *sigh*

I'm in Omaha, NE, so it wouldn't be hell for me to head up there. And if it comes together, I'm certainly willing to try.

Buuuut... I think that for a next Midwest event, something more centrally-located would work better. That way, people from Kansas / Texas / Oklahoma / Missouri / etc. would have an easier time making it.

I mostly agree. What if we had two, an upper midwest and a lower midwest, that way it would be easy for both and people could go to both or choose which is easier. I suggested Mpls just because I'm from here, familiar with the area and have been trying to plan one for over a year now. We have lots of great stuff and a pretty big gothic underground for being north. All the Pretty Horses will be playing at the Schoolgirls and Mobilesuits Cosplay Ball, too :) I'd still like to do it, but that doesn't mean other people can't, too, right?

Yeah... I know Indiana isn't horribly midwest, but we are classified as such ^^; And I know I'd like to go to one! Don't know about being able to go this year.. but we very rare lolitas in Indiana would like to be included too ^_^ Cause I don't think we'd be able to get to Minneapolis x-x;;

You know, I'm thinking of going to the con in South Bend (my dad is from there). But it's the weekend I'm planning this Tea Party for. Anyway, I hope people can come to it. I don't mind if others plan them, they can do what they want :) I just wanted to plan one and hoped people would come. I would love if you two would be able to come.
