I'm another one of those long-time listener, first-time caller types. Anyway, I found these shoes on the Payless website and thought someone might like them. I mean, I like them and they're pretty cheap, so you never know. Enough rambling..here they are.

This is depressing me. I posted this pic about a month ago but I am doing it again in hopes that someone somewhere can point me in the right direction. I know that they are Torrid brand and that they are ripoffs of Baby the Stars shine bright (cant afford those just yet waah) but thats all-----If you can help me I will be you slave and love you forever ..

related to the recently posted thread about the limit age of EGL,
I remember reading a long article about gyaru and ganguro where all the interviewed girls agreed without hesitation that they'd stop dressing like that at 20-21. It felt a bit sad, the way they all said it, they were already conscious at 15 that they were left to play around a little until becoming part of the machine. The article also talked about some gyaru that played around for a little too long and because of that lost their chance to get anything more than washing dishes or standing at a supermarket counter for the rest of their lifes
So is it the same with EGL in Japan?Do they sharply stop at 20 or is there a smooth transition to being EGA which they keep doing forever?

How common are Recycle Shops in Japan? Will most people (mostly, policemen) know what I'm talking about when I ask for directions?

So I decided it was time to stop buying fabrid and start using up some of the stuff that I had laying around. This material was given to me. And when I started out making this dress all I could think was this is probably going to be the ugliest dress ever. But it actually didn't turn out too bad. My plaids don't match, but I didn't feel like working on that, the next time I will. But I kind of like how it doesn't match up. Sorry the picture is so big, I wanted the sleeves to be seen. Well what do you think?
