At the request/suggestion of Miss [livejournal.com profile] weetziefae I'm going to tell you all how to make a vinyl circle skirt, if I haven't already. Well I'm going to point you in the direction of my explanation if you're interested.

Anyway I posted this comment In regards to this picture. I'm pretty sure I've posted the info before, probably with pictures, but I can't recall.I really wish there was a way to search through your own LJ posts...

However that leads me into an idea/suggestion I have for the community. Every so often I see new faces posting all the same old links, and obviously I'm not even certain if I myself am reposting old information.
To alleviate repetition I suggest compiling a resource of our own not unlike the alt.gothic.fashion faq for gothic lolita fashion. Links to the stores, how-tos on headpieces and so forth. Might as well start now. There's plenty of content already and I'm fairly certain it's only going to continue growing.

Just a suggestion. I'm just as thrilled as anyone to see new faces, I'd just like to help them get their basic information all at once and bring us more new content more quickly.

What do you think?

I have many pictures of myself in gothy loli glory.

For me, gothic lolita is a term that defines the way i live (and have for sometime) my life.

No 'this isnt really egl comments please' be elegant, not overly critical. I am just a little doll after all, and porcelain cracks easily.

So here is a little pink doll tea party. I dont think i have posted them in this community before.

I play the game of dress-up as opposed to fashion, and today i am the pertiest pink polly dolly!

I want plain black curly falls/fake hair I can tuck into my hair when I put them up into two little buns. I'd like them to be of semi decent quality (ie not obvious that they're fake hair) but inexpensive. Any shopping suggestions?

at the suggestion of [livejournal.com profile] avant_gauche i am posting this here. please forgive me if i shouldnt.

i made this a couple of years ago, it's never been worn and i am looking to sell it. the pictures do NOT do it justice. my camera is not the best and i've yet to be sucessful in getting this particular fabric to photograph well. i've used several different cameras in attempting to get a decent picture.

it's a size 12-14 it's being shown on a 8-10 dress form.

I wanna see!!! )

since i messed up on the html on the second portion of my last post, here are the pictures i TRIED to show before.click here to see! )

i ONLY use invisible zippers, so the zipper closure is just like a seam, not a lapped zipper application. (personal preference) i mean, if you prefer a lapped zipper, i'll be happy to accomodate you, but personally, i like hidin em *grin*

I have a thing with big shoes specifically big 7inch tall maryjanes. Im quite short so you can see my obsession. I mean litterally the shortest shoes i own are 3 inches. Well to get to the point i was wondering where i could find maryjanes but the big tall ones and for a pretty reasonable price.

A lot of people have asked about Japanese sizes on this and other forums so I made a page to help Americans understand how the Japanese system works. It's more of a general size information page, not specifically focused on gothic or Lolita clothing, but I think it might be helpful. Since I only know about American and Japanese sizes that's all I could include, so my apologies to people in other countries. ^^;
