Hello! I make screen-printed tights and I'm thinking about getting some cotton socks made with my own designs. I've found a manufacturer, the only problem I have now is deciding on what to make first! I'm thinking of doing woodland animals with flowers and berries to start with (they could suit classic, country and mori styles) but I'd like to see what sort of thing people would like first of all.

I should be able to offer different sizes so hopefully I could do a standard small-medium size and also a large-plus size. I know some people with larger calves have difficulties with socks fitting so any input on sizing issues would help me make socks to fit a wide range of sizes! I would probably limit this to a few colour-ways at first and hopefully expand to more colours and patterns in the future.

Are there any motifs/patterns you would love on a pair of socks?

Do you mostly buy socks for sweet, classic or gothic outfits or a mixture?

Would you prefer socks with a neutral background (white, cream or black) to match many outfits or do you prefer socks in specific colours to match a specific outfit/item, if so what are your favourites?

Are there any motifs/patterns on socks that you already own many of or you think are over-done?

What is your preferred sock length? (knee high/over knee/thigh high)

Do you often find issues with the fit of socks in length or width? If so do you have any suggestions on an ideal fit for you or measurements that you would like socks to fit?

Any other ideas or suggestions?
